Should there be any string pressure against the bumpers ? I just installed mine tonight, I cut an 1/8" (same as .125") + blade width and I still have some string pressure against the bumpers. Should I take more off ? Also included in the package were 2 strings about 28" long, what are...

Here's my setup. MadDogs mounted on top of a Tamarak dry box. I'm replacing the standard 5" fletching on some of my GT ll's with 2" blazer's. How close to the nock do I want to place them and how much offset do you guy's recommend, I'm using a Glayling fletcher with straight jig. I'm also going to replace the aluminum insert's with 110 grain brass in...

I think there is less than $1.00 difference between fletched and bare shafts but the satisfaction you get from doing your own will be well worth it.

Boo string

Can anybody recomend which version of a Boo string I should order, I see he has a few different versions with strand counts and what not. I'm shooting an Equinox.

Thanks for all the info guys. I ended up ordering a Grayling and 2" Blazer vanes off of ebay now all I need is some blank shafts and brass inserts and I'll be ready for the trial and error process. Does anyone know where I can get some GT Laser 2 and some brass inserts ?

What do you mean about a makeshift adapter ? I contacted a seller on ebay and he said the Grayling comes with a crossbolt adapter.
