Re: wraps
Even though they make the arrows look cool I don't use them anymore. My experience was... Pros- they were easy to apply, vanes and feathers stuck good and as I said they looked cool. They didn't seen to effect the POI of my XX75 2117 either. Cons- I wanted to save some weight and didn't use the clea...

Re: Hawke Sport HD IR 2-7x32
Houser, even tho that's a 2x7, there doesn't appear to be any multiple range aim points on it. Is that correct? If so, HHA Optimizer? Sorry for bring up this old thread but I was shooting the Vortex with the Hawke 2-7X32 HD IR this weekend and started experimenting with different magnifications, ya...

Re: What type of serving material for 1st time server?
I haven't seen Brownell Crown mentioned that much. Does it lay flat or stay round? How well does it hold up?

Re: Who has a garden started?
I planted mine Saturday, zucchini, cukes, tomatoes and jalapenos. Still want to plant okra this week. With the kids gone and just me and the wife, I've scaled back a lot.
We about live on tomato sandwiches during the season.

Re: Saunders Blunts. A review.
Thanks for the review. It's kind of odd that I was just searching this morning for a good blunt to use on a couple feral cats that have been tracking the wife's car. It was funny that a few days ago I was shooting my new Ibex and one of the cats just appeared out of the woods right beside of my targ...

Re: Removing dissapator bars?
Removing them should make the bow a little cleaner looking. What's the weight difference between the S5 and the DBs? I guess using the S5 does move some of the weight rearward and distribute it better too.
I called Danny earlier and ordered the cup washers and bolts so I can remove them.

Removing dissapator bars?
I've considered removing the DB bars from either my Ibex or Vortex. The reason is to remove all excess weight and dedicate one xbow strictly for hunting. The DB bars and S5 will remain on my non hunting bow and will used for practice and casual shooting. I'd like to hear from anybody who has removed...

New Ibex has arrived
The new aluminum rail Ibex arrived late last week. It went together easily just like my Vortex. The fit and camo finish was perfect. It has dissipator bars but not the S5 system. I already had an Excalibur mount and scope so I installed them, waxed the dacron string and looked everything over before...

Re: New Ibex is a'coming
Thanks for the comments.
I wasn't sure what accessories I might need. Figured I'd shoot it for a little while first but, I did order a cheek piece the same day and it should be here by the time the bow gets here.

New Ibex is a'coming
I've been shooting my Vortex for over a year now and love it. I never thought of ever owning another crossbow. Why would I need another one? The Vortex is really accurate with lots of power and I have no problems cocking it. Then while I was buying vanes at the local shop I started looking at a new ...
