Re: Who want's Mike P back?
There is 2 sides to every story and at this point only one side is partially known. How can I vote without all the facts. I stay in touch with Mike and love hearing his stories... I have personally never heard him put anyone down, even about this matter in the past. I'd like to know whom supposedly...

Re: Plenty of deer, not much antler
8-9pm and 12-1am are the times they are moving right now.. Im seeing decent racks. 16-20inch stuff which are good bucks but 2.5 year olds. I have to much hunting ahead to tag on a lesser buck for myself. They are running mad here right now. Snort wheezing really gets the UPSET!

Re: 13 days of hunting season gone
I was a hardcore trophy hunter for many years and I've got many nice racks to show for it. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee206/bstout01/DSCF1018.jpg I also have a buck registered in the Pope & Young record book. It actually scored 141 6/8ths. http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee206/bstout...

Re: What a shame
from someone on the inside.. Most cant hit the side of a house with 20 rounds   Firearms week was hell for most in our class so I believe it took him 6 rounds of not more. All you have to do is walk up and put 1 behind the shoulder and end it quickly. sumner, its different when someone's s...

13 days of hunting season gone
This is what seperates antler addicts from your normal guy.. 13 days of passing decent bucks with nothing to show for it. Most would pull the trigger on the first decent buck that walks by at this point. But knowing, just knowing, whats in the woods lurking after dark. What could venture by at any m...

Re: trail cam opinions
i dont like the capture IR unless they have fixed it and made the IR images better. It works, but the images were grainy. The trophy cam had better IR pictures but just slightly. Plus for the bushnell... 3 shot burst and works well in heat and cold. Battery life is great. Images are fair to decent. ...

Re: trail cam opinions
For the best images the flash from the capture will give you the best results. I have a lot for each. Both work great but the cuddeback images and hands down better. If you want the flash hidden from people, yes I said people go IR. I haven't seen where flash or IR is better as to spooking deer. I w...

I apologize for any of my posts since I assumed it was directed towards a good friend. However, I'm not apologizing since this friend was basically driven off the forum by BS from certain members. Its bad when members do that to others on here when they claim to be friends. time may past, but people...

Re: ground level with a 8pt snort wheezing
Thanks everyone. If I didnt get a chance to get a good look at him it may be different. Im just finally started taking my time more and looking first. He's a shooter here for though, but maybe a 120ish score buck. He's got excellent genes right now. Its 3-4 more in that woods that are worth waiting ...
