I'm betting you got brass front inserts and aluminum rear inserts! The aluminum rear inserts that came with my GT shafts have a hole and are threaded, but won't accept a screw in point...............

Limb wedges???

Been thinking about this....... The new Excalibur risers slightly angle the limbs forward to improve performance.......just wondering if anyone is/has built a set of wedges to do the same thing to the older risers??? Doesn't look like it would be difficult to do and they could be made from delrin or...

Thanks Wayne

Looks like it would be easy enough to drill a couple of holes for locating pins so it would seat exactly the same each time......the pins could either be threaded or red loctited into the riser with corresponding holes in the rail.

Hey Digger (and others that do this)

Saw the photo you posted on the "limbs" thread.......have you noticed any change in point of impact when you remove and reinstall the limb assembly as in the photo??? Sure would be a lot easier to transport an Excalibur if it can be taken down and reassembled without a change in point of i...

"YET" would be the key word in your post! :D

Maybe your boots have soles made of a different material.......but the fact remains, Rocky knows there is a problem and won't stand behind the product.

You get what you pay for!... Not when you buy Rocky boots!!! If you look at the photo I posted.......the soles on my boots were not wore out.......they just came apart. While they are not the most expensive boot available, I paid good money for those boots......they weren't free......I certainly di...

Gary The holes in the nylon pieces are too small to fit over the moulded tips......I could probably open the holes up enough with a file to fit the moulded tip limbs, just haven't tried it yet...... Tye I can string my older Exocet without any problem.......I can string my newer one using a flemish ...

However the more spin on your arrow or bolt the more drag. So in reality the longer shot with the helical should have hit lower at 40 Yards. But with reality one never knows..... :D That's exactly what I thought too......that's one of the reasons it's a head scratcher........ I've been hunting with...

I'll go with the FFF, but how do you tell the difference between these two.....they are both flemish strings??

Another head scratcher......can't believe this one!

Shooting the new exocet and I'm using 18" gold tip Laser IIs with 4" feathers and 130 wasp cam locks........at 40 yards, 2 bolts hit to same point of impact.......the third consistently shoots 2" higher.......I switch broadheads and the same thing.....2" higher.......so, I bring ...
