I ordered my Exocet 200 online a few weeks ago and got a good deal. (wife was pleased) I've had a 150# crossbow for over 15 years. The Excal was a little much to _cock at first even with a rope aid but soon I could _cock it without breaking a sweat. Even in the heat I have shot it at least a half do...

I took my granddaughter hunting when she was age six. We sat there for a couple of hours before a doe came very cautiously within 30 yards before my granddaughter sighted it. When she sighted it, she jumped up shouting "Pap, shoot, shoot shoot!!!". As the doe ran off, she asked me "Pa...

Check for freezer burn!!! I have kept venison upto 2 years if it is properly package. We do all our own butchering and wrapping. Even before the vaccum packaging machines we were able to work most air out of the package as we wrap with plastic wrap first then wrap with the freezer paper with plastic...

I added the limb savers to the limbs of my Exocet. Reduced the sound from from a sharp "thawak" to a soft "thounk". I t think I spelled those correctly. LOL :P

I carry three or four for the day. Since I hunt within 1/2 mile of the house, if I come back to the house for lunch I will leave the quiver in the stand and carry one bolt while stalking on the way back to the house.

I had my base in two days from bowhunters superstore. Or try a local outdoor or archery shop.

Jay, I have had good luck with the G5 Montec. The Montec flies like a field point from my Exocet 200. I made the switch from mechanicals to fixed broadheads for hunting this year because of the fear of the mechanicals opening upon firing. The Montec is also easy to sharpen. I have also shot the Muzz...

I too am not to happy with the GT LII. I got a dozen with my new Exocet. I have had problems with the inserts coming loose. Once shot at a target with a montec and the bolt stopped in the target but the insert and broadhead kept on going. Never found the insert or broadhead. I also weighed each bolt...

Shooting GT Laser II with my Exocet at a Morrell's yellow jacket last night. Combined with the penetration I am getting with the Exocet, the GTs are next to impossible to remove without a puller. If shooting within 30 yards the GTs were penetrating to half way on the fletchings. At fifty yards they ...

Randy,

I have just recently upgraded from my Horton SuperMag to the Exocet. The LS2s I used with the SuperMag shot very well in the Exocet as they are 2219s. I also used the Carbon Express bolts from Wally.

My heart goes out to you and those that loved her. I know she will be missed. I have already had to put one friend down and last summer my retriever was hit by a vehicle. She's 5 years old. She survived but it has taken it's toll on her. Last Saturday night she had a seisure. I thought I was loosing...

Nothing to make my heart pound yet. There has been the usual batchlor groups in the beans fields behind the house. Mostly 6 & 8s and maybe a ten or two, widest spread maybe 18 inches. My boy and I have been glassing in preparation for the season. September 30th this year. Only 70 days.....

Your string does seem too far back compared to my new Exocet200. My Exocet is about three weeks old and the string location is about 1/4" distance in front of the rear line, the nearest line to your string location.
