Most importantly, I would place my cameraman 6 feet lower than me in the same tree.
Best advice yet.

Different Gold Tip Laser II Bolts?

I just received a dozen bolt shafts from Keystone Country Store as was recommended by a member here and although I ordered from their catalogue the +/- .003 straightness the wraps on the raw bolt shafts say +/- .005. Did they send me the wrong ones or are they advertized or wrapped incorrectly and w...

Thank you Wabi & Bstout

Thanks you gentlemen for your help with the Blazer vanes. I reduced the offset I used with the Right Helical and the GT L2s with the brass inserts shoot beautifully.

Ordered more of each to make up for this coming season. I really appreciate all the help I get from members here.

Thanks, Wayne

they not only show the blood but everything else that is red. I have one and it does show the blood along with the red leaves and all. Absolutely my experience when trailing with 2 hunting buddies who had them. I would say they are worthless - I used my old white flashlight and saw more then they d...

Thanks for the info. guys. I guess I'll stay with the brass. What kind of adhesive do you use to glue them in? I am currently using 4" duravanes but also have some blazers on hand (2") which I might give a try too. You say they do not need much helical with the Blazers and brass inserts? W...

Brass vs. Aluminum inserts

Is everyone still using brass inserts? I need to get some more GT 2s and wonder which ones to get. They both shoot good for me but I seem to get more range from the aluminum. I can use my 30 yd. pin on my scope for a 40 yd. shot and this seems to hold true for all ranges from 30 - 60 yds. by using t...

Are those the 2" Quick Spins? How do you like them? Have you had a chance to compare them to the 2" Blazers?

I can remember when my wife's friends were horrified that I had a loaded gun in the house when we had a child. Arn't you afraid that your child will find the gun and shoot himself or one of his playmates they would ask. Not at all I would respond, my son knows all about guns and has been shooting s...

Do you put any kind of twist on when mounting to the shaft? If I can use my right helical jig would the bolt fly well with that kind of twist to the short Blazer, assuming it could be done? Thanks.

Using Blazer Vanes

Have been using 4" Duravanes and wanted to try 2" Blazer vanes. I use a right Helical twist jig- can I use the same setup for the Blazers? thanks.
