mmmmhhhh...I would avoid to do that Scott...my sense of prudence tells that is better to avoid to touch trigger without to be aimed on the targed.... regarding the two cycle action is true and on my opinion it is very good, I can feel on this way, with a good feeling with my crossbow, exactly when t...

I don't know if you know this little secret yet, probably yes, but a good way to increase trigger efficiency is to push it much in point as possible so your finger have to push the trigger and the trigger guard on the same time. Try it and let me know.

The trigger on my exomax was very scorbutic: very hard to pull, It was impossible feel exactly when it left the string; I modified it with a longer trigger, so now the effort decreased about 35%. Instead my Exocet200 trigger is perfect, very progressive I can feel perfectly one instant before when i...

Yes! I noticed the same thing: when the serving is damaged the arrow group became bigger more than 200%. As you told, that is normal: the contact between arrow and string is trough the serving.
A regular contact is very important.

Aluminum is more precise, carbon is more durable. On my opinion, on short distances up to 40 yards, it is more important the durability than the precision.

Yes, with a good equipment and correct technic and pratice it easy to shoot up to 100 yards precisely but in hunting you have two principal problems: the first one is to determine the EXACT distance of your prey. You can tell:" But I can use a rengefinder!"; Yes you can but it is really pr...

Pay attenction: all commercial cronographs misure a different value on different light intensity and position. This error is 5%! So in a crossbow could be +-15fps! Put your chronograph on a fixed position inside your house, with an intense artificial light on a fixed position, but this position must...

On my past experience with carabines, their penetration power is many times more than a crossbow, it depends on cartrige type, but I remember many years ago I was shooting at 400 yards for a coca cola tin and I saw a nice beech tree (hard wood) with a diameter of 2 feets near the target. So I decide...

TNhunterKMC, You have reason, the my graph on page 3 referred on my very old and bad prototype of absorber : http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n259/matthias72/Ssa41133.jpg that I made it to search a easy and cheap solution to decrease noises. But this solution was not always so effective (if not pe...

Riflescopes ATN Aries

Hello :!: I'm seriously thinking to buy a nightvision scope in order to mount it on my crossbow. I saw on Cabela's the ATN scopes http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/index/index-display.jsp?id=cat601559&navAction=jump&navCount=1&parentId=cat602006&parentType=category&cmCa...
