Your 175 will work great on the bear hunt, no need to boost its performance.

This is why I upgraded to the Exocet 175 from the Wolverine so that I could hunt anything in NA without having to struggle when loading by hand if required.

I have to go with the Grohman as well :D I am on my third one which I have had for close to 20 years :D The first 2 I wore out as my father & I ran seperate trapline so they got EXTREMELY well used with skinning just about anything that was classed as a furbearing critter :shock: I love the shap...

Looks like a Les Dunsden to me if the Canadian oldtimers know who that is :oops:

They were made in Brantford back in the 60's.

My very first bow was a Dunsden fiberglass longbow.

Last year where I gutted my buck, I went back the next day as I had lost my knives & not 10 feet away from the gut pile was a fresh scrap that was not there before :shock:

I started flinging arrows back in 1968 (fiberglass longbow). Then started hunting with a bow (Bear Compound) in 1976, used a couple of crossbows (Barnett & Daco) during the seasons of '80 & '82 as I had surgery on my hand just before season then. Swithed to recurve in '86 then longbow in '89...
