Re: Matrix 380 Upgrade is Ready for the Season
Yeah, I'm curious as well, I have a 380 coming and would like to know more about this.

Re: Good Back up bow
Get a Matrix 330, use the same arrows with both bows. Or a Matrix 355. But I agree, get something that will use the same arrows. That is what I have done. I almost bought Mike's Micro 335 Gen1, but a 350SE deal showed up on Craigslist so I went with that. Now my 355 is the backup bow and the...

Re: Matrix String
Yup, definitely get yourself a pair of strings from any one of the fine string makers in the Trading section. Then put that factory string away as an emergency spare for the spare you just bought.

Re: the grass isn't always greener
BEEs still 50% off at the black eagle website... .003 BEEs are additional $3 off that price Thanks for the tip. I just ordered 2 dozen of the 18" .003 in pink (all they had left) for $66 shipped free. I have only shot Diablos with the 150gr field points and broadcutters, so I'll have to get so...

Re: Info Request - Matrix Sapphire
At 5'8", you should be able to handle any of the Matrix crossbows. On the left side of this web page, under the Support, click on "Selecting the Right Crossbow". For somebody 5'8" Plus, they say all the bows should be possible. I have found this chart to be pretty accurate. So yo...

Re: Info Request - Matrix Sapphire
My daughter is 5' and she can load up the Sapphire without any problems. She couldn't do the Axiom SMF, the Matrix 330, and definitely not my Matrix 355. She loves the Sapphire. I have a co-worker who was thinking of getting a crossbow, she is 5'2" and she couldn't load up the bows just like my...

Re: Question for string makers.
RobD, this data you provided means very little unless you state materials used for both strings. My signature had all of that info. Force-10 Vixenmaster strings for all of them (except for the green factory string I mentioned that came on the 350). 24, 26, and 36 strands although the the 355 is the...

Re: Question for string makers.
I did a chrono recently on my bows with some different strand strings. Not totally scientific, but should put your mind at ease about strands and fps. The difference on my 355 between a 36-strand and a 26-strand was only 3fps. This is an excerpt what I said in the Matrix 350SE Owners thread... I use...

Re: Trigger tech recall
My box had the serial number on it, mine was 0610 so mine is good to stay in the bow.

That sucks. Wonder which one gets picked on next?mchurch wrote:Looks like it now voids the warranty
- The use of non-factory strings that void the limb warranty.
- Munch Mounts over-stressing the frame.
- Non-factory bolts damaging the rail.

Re: Micro 315 vs matrix 330
Have you shortened the rope cocker as much as you can? Putting their head back or looking up while cocking makes a big differnce as well. Yup, did those things. It helped my daughter get it to the ADF catch, but she just couldn't get it any further. But that's OK, they both like the Sapphire and my...

Re: Micro 315 vs matrix 330
Define small stature. My daughter who is 5' and a co-worker who is 5'2", couldn't pull the rope up far enough on the Matrix 330 nor the Axiom SMF. They could both get it to the dry-fire catch but not to the trigger latch. And my daughter isn't a weakling, she can toss hay and 50# feed bags arou...

Re: Matrix 350SE Owners
I've read that the 350 was faster than a 355, but I didn't think it was going to be 15fps faster. Especially since it starts out 5fps slower from the marketing information. I'm also happy to see that there isn't much fps difference between the 26 and 36 strand strings from Mike.

Re: Matrix 350SE Owners
Because you guys wanted to know, and more importantly that I wanted to know which bow was my "best", I endured 91 degree weather and an unusually high volume of mosquitos to get some fps numbers. I used the same bolt (stock Diablo 18" w/150g field point), but I only shot it once. If I...

Re: Matrix 350SE Owners
Everyone seems to like the 350. Does anyone have fps results from a chronograph? I'm hoping to have numbers soon on my 3 bows, but "soon" may still be a couple of weeks. I need to determine if the 350 is faster than my 355 so I will know which bow will be my primary. I tested my ch...
