Re: Fixed vs expandable

Now this is just my opinion...so take it with a grain of salt. :D Mechanicals...the answer to a question that never needed asking. Why add a Rube Goldberg contraption to the end of an arrow when there are so many solid fixed blade heads out there. Rube Goldberg LOL! I've never had a reason to try m...

Great story and well done! I had no idea that the sows are aggressive too. Any plans for that trophy?

Re: Tricky Doe

Well done! I too have been busted similarly a couple of times and responded with a huff, but never had them come back close enough. The hide-and-seek is why I love ground hunting! Ever since my wife started hunting (she doesn't like heights), I've been doing most of my crossbow hunting from the gro...

Tricky Doe

I only stumbled across this public land spot on Friday. It's only 100 yards from a road and 200 yards from a popular access point, but with the convergence of two trails and lots of other sign, I knew I had to hunt it. Only the deer this evening didn't quite follow the plan (do they ever follow the ...

Re: Did Excalibur sell out to ten point

It's a small world folks. After she left you Bryan and went to work for TenPoint, she'd already had the knowledge that you loved Excalibur which then made her vengeful against you and everything you love. She's probably married now to the owner of the pizza shop and asking him to merge with Barnett...

Loose Slick Tricks

I've been using Slick Tricks for years and will continue to do so, as I find them very accurate and the four cutting edges to be deadly. However, yesterday I noticed that the blades on some of my heads are loose. I can wiggle the blades with my fingers and if I shake the assembled arrow, it rattles....

Re: Exocet 165?

Yes they did make an Exocet 165. It will drive arrows through both sides of a deer and into the ground.
