I think everyone that owns an Excalibur should at least try decocking it. It is much easier than you would think. In fact I will go as far as saying my Excaliburs are all easier to decock than they are to cock.

Big day today not only my birthday but getting everything ready for the archery deer season this coming saturday. Washing hunting clothes, checking gear, charging atv battery oh sooo much to do. lol

Sorry to hear this happening to you, hopefully your moose hunting season isn’t over for you knowing that you have to drive some distance and maybe time off.
