Re: 2-fer on youth day

Your right Bob, the smile on his face is priceless. His dad and I have been letting him tag along on deer and turkey hunts since he was about 6 (now 13). Daniel is probably the most well mannered and respectful kids I know, it was such a joy to hunt with him. Plus he is a crack shot, I seen both dee...

Re: A 6 year olds first buck fever encounter

It was a hot one for sure yesterday CF. Great hunt with the young one, I get more joy out of taking youths out and seeing their excitement than shooting something myself. I'm sure there are going to be many more big buck opportunities in his hunting future. :D

2-fer on youth day

I borrowed my hunting buddies son for our Youth Hunt today since his dad had to work. We are having a great acorn crop this year and everyone is saying how hard it is going to be to find the deer with all the food available. Well that may hold true, but the thing we are missing this year is the wate...

2009 late season mount

Finally got my 2009 late season buck back. I had to cull a mount off the the wall to make room for this one, he is the buck above the lamp shade. All are VA deer with the exception of the buck left of this years. Rich http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g116/bowmuzhntr/20102.jpg http://i54.photobucket...

Re: Can't get Blazers to stick!

I've been using Locktite Gel Control glue for my Blazers and have not had a single one come loose, plus it's less than $3 a tube at Wal-Mart.

VA deer sightings???

I take a daily ride through the local area just about every night checking the local soy bean fields and grassy areas and have noticed a steep decline in the number of deer I have been seeing the past few weeks. The soy bean by my house has not had a deer in it in over 3 weeks now (normally a dozen ...

Nice review Scott. The strings look very good in the website pics. The real question is "what will your Excal be wearing this season".

Re: Daddy

Tyler, It's very sad to hear about your dad's back problem. I hope he heals quickly, if he is feeling better and able to drive by the end of next month you guys are welcome to come to VA for our youth hunt. Maybe we can work something out and my son can pick you guys up on his way home from Camp Leg...
