I wear just my pants and base layer shirt in public. When I get to the site I put on my outer camo layer coats, hats, and blaze. I keep that stuff all in a large container in the car. I have filled up with gas on the way home a few times in just my green thermal layer, especially if its raining and ...

Camo tape

Couple of questions: 1. Does the cammo tape work on Shotgun barrels? Not affected by the heat, of the gun... 2. Where can you buy it? 3. What thicknesses does it come in? 4. Is there any method of painting a barrel and stock that would make it look just as nice? 5. Has anyone had any experience with...

My parents both routinely wash their glasses with dish soap and have no problems with fogging. Dry them with a paper towel. I remember always prepping my ITECH mask with shampoo too, back in my hockey playing days. I teammate and I once went in on a bottle of the commercial anti-fog and were sadly l...

What do you do if red squirrels act defensive while your in the blind/chair? These buggers wouldn't leave me alone tonight, seen about 4-6 different ones and two were really po'd with my presence and hissed for a while which i fear may have alerted deer... thoughts? I use the chipmunks and squirrel...

That's a real kick in the ass! I don't even want to look at my cans. Next year I am not wasting my money. I think they are selling us dreams. When do get a deer, it is result of careful planning and patience. That said I will use my remaining can this weekend and next week. And I will punch holes in...

I never find anything interesting when I am out in the bush. Although every time I find trail markers I follow them to the end. Usually just boring stuff like old camps, property stone markers, and wrecked old cars. Never secret crops and cam nets. Thats something that people up here would rather ju...

You'll love the Phoeinx! I have not modified mine at all and just use regular bow wax on the string and serving. It is a ton of fun. Just don't shoot the same spot on a target twice, you'll just be throwing your money away.

I've got my money on the 13, 14 of November. As those are possibly the last two full days I can hunt, but I did arrange it that way around the full moon. I do have Saturday morning with my rifle, but secretly I hope it is just an adventure in the woods, as I really want a chance to use my Phoenix ne...
