Is it time to start Grunting and Spraying in Western PA

Haven't been in the woods in about a week. I'm going out again on Friday. I would think we should be entering into a pre-rut, early rut stage in south western PA. I figured out a formula that works well for Shooting straight down out of your stand (deer standing approximately one yard from base of tree) is one of the toughest shots you can take. Many don't try these up close shots and for good reason... they know they're not proficient shooting at this acute...

That's why I fletch my own arrows. Why worry about it. It may take away the confidence you need to make that shot on a buck of a life time.

Refletch the arrow and be done with it.

Well I got up with the best of intentions.... but we have a wind advisory with gusts upwards of 50 mph... Sorry cannot go up in a tree in this. We've already lost power twice and branches are coming down in the back yard!!

Don't really want to get hit with a large branch in a tree stand

How windy is too windy

We're expecting wind of 15 to 20mp tomorrow with occasional gusts... will this shut them down... would this keep you out of a tree tomorrow?

Two in a day... nice job.

I agree with you on the use of the crossbow. Great to sit with, harder to pack in and out.

I use the 125 magnum sick trick to get a better foc and larger cutting radius.

My accuracy is right on with my 125 gr field points.
