Best tip I ever got... Put string wax on your fletching jig so you dont glue your fletch to the jig and not the arrow...

Fletching my own arrows for the first time, I had the same problem. Turns out it was the arrows and not the bow :oops: Found this out by numbering the arrows, then numbered the dots on the target. Always shoot the #1 arrow at the #1 dot. This way you weed out bad arrows real quick and can adjust you...

Last time out, I had my back pack attached to my climber. Didnt like that much weight attached to the climber. On Tuesday I'm going to try attaching the ExoMax to the climber and carry the back pack like a suit case (it has a handle right in the middle). If I don't like that, I'm going to try and do...

Oh almost forgot ... knife, handgun, wallet, keys, water, lighter, flash light, blood tracking light, cell phone, ...

I carry way too much.

Back pack with pruners, small 1st aid kit, buck bomb, thermos, lunch, wind checker, ropes, extra string, cocking rope, binoculars, grunt, doe bleat, space blanket, pencils, duct tape, arrow puller, cover scent, large ziplocks, gloves, ... and probably more...

anybody ever use one of those fake rattling antler noise makers... might be easier than caring a rack around.

Not sure about the scent control, but if that were me, the cover up scent would have either been human crap or piss or both!!

Took some of this years doe and made a little stew. It's called stand up stew because it was made at hunting camp one year. One guy goes over to taste it, comments on how good it was, the next guy goes over... and before long the entire slow cooker full of stew was gone while the guys were STANDING ...

Haven't had a day off to hunt since I put Team PETA on the board. BUT WAIT TILL NEXT WEEK. Two days off and I'll be able to take a buck if the big one comes in....
