Yotes
I see we're all pretty much in agreement on the Coyote problem, and it seems to be getting worse everywhere. Here in the Northern lower Michigan, they are getting bolder by the day. Spitfire
I don't use mechanicals. Currently loving Excalibur's Boltcutters (flys perfect.) Anyways, I have several friends who use Spitfires & everyone loves em! I have never heard, nor read of a failure yet with Spitfires. They are making a 170 gr version for Crossbow hunting. You may want to check that...

Exomax & Equinox
Saxman, can't argue there, you are right about those things for sure. I guess the point really is this. Excalibur (and all brands) make several models for varying tastes. I find it funny that people who are shooting slower bows will criticize fast shooters as though there is something wrong with tha...

Liver hit
If the deer was slightly quartering (either direction), you may have a liver hit. They are always fatal, but the time to expiratin can vary depending on where you sliced it. Typically, they bleed profusely at first, then trail off. the reason in your case may be that as he first ran, he was pumping ...

Exomax
I did a lot of research prior to my purchase. I first selected Excalibur, as I believe in simple, and moreso in quality, in this respect, I was right, and got both. I chose the Exomax for speed, I'm not shy about it. Everyone here will tell you it doesn't matter for clean kills out to say, 30 yards....
