Re: Is Speed Important and how does it affect Performance

I see that I'm being quoted as recommending 20" arrows. You guys have that right but for the wrong reasons! We have recommended 20" for about 27 years simply because they are easily available in bulk from the arrow shaft manufacturers in that length. If we recommended 22" arrows you f...

Re: Wildlife and wind turbines

The whole wind turbine thing reeks of Toronto and I hate it. They are being shoved down our throats in Garafraxa Twp near Fergus, just another symptom of the urban majority salving it's concience by "going green" at our expense. I'm not against being enviromentally sensitive in any way, bu...

I said we will try to make it less of an issue, but we need to leave an easy way for outsiders to enter the website thru the forum

Re: S5 doesn't fit

Unfortunately over the years that we made the newest generation of the risers we didn't make a point of holding the location of the mounting holes in perfect alignment relative to the angled surface on the back of the riser. As a result maybe one in 20 has problems fitting on properly. If it won't f...

Re: ANTI - CROSSBOW TALK

You betcha! It's all about not wanting anyone to hunt "Their" deer in "Their" season. After watching and listening to the elitists and their anti-crossbow crap for 3 decades that's what it all boils down to: greed. If these guys carry it to the illogical extreme they won't even h...

Re: Axiom

Hi
The mainframe/deck is a high percentage glass filled nylon material, the riser is machined aluminum alloy just like all our other crossbows.

Re: FORMAT

I see now what's up. We get huge numbers of hits from people who are doing searches and get refered to the forum. Once in the forum they had no easy access to the website so this is an effort to get them to be able to enter and learn more about our products from the forum. We can talk this over with...

Re: New Excalibur crossbow to me!

Based on the camo it would be one of the first years that the Exomag was produced. I expect that 95-97, MAYBE 98 would probably catch it. It is probably 185 pound draw weight and remember to ONLY use dacron string material on it or you'll wreck those pretty carved-tip limbs.

Re: Bear !!!!!!

Better do your math again on bear population increases. -Sows have their first cub at 4 years old -Average litter is less than 2 cubs after that -The sow only breeds every other year. Sure, they will increase population with time in a favorable situation, but not even close to what deer can do. Pers...

Re: Screw size

Hi
They are #8-32 by 5/16" long. Be careful because if you use too long of a screw they will jam up your catch and shut the trigger unit down.

Re: Boo's stock

This relates to US law and their insistance that all firearms related objects have an export permit. Under US law a crossbow is not related at all to a firearm, and obviously this is a wrongful seizure, have you been able to find a contact who is up the ladder a notch or two from the stooge who grab...

Re: Unbending carbon arrow myth

I've seen this before when an arrow is really tightly imbedded in a foam target and you use a plier type puller to remove it. Amazing stuff!
Imagine what fun it would be if you weren't paying attention and tried to shoot it off of your crossbow. I expect a dryfire would be the result!

Re: server

Hi If you are not happy I'm the one to complain to, not the whole world! On a vortex you should be getting 300 plus shots on a fff string easily, probably lots more than that if the bow is broken in. Possibilities that can cause premature failure of your serving, assuming that it actually wore throu...

Personally I don't have a problem with Liberals....I have a problem with the people who vote for them!
Remember that a non-vote is half a vote for the powers of darkness, if you don't get out and vote you deserve anything you get..........Bill
