I dont have it yet, but the scope should just require the scope mount and rings. Run you about $30-40 + the scope. Someone else here who has it should be able to confirm this.

I nearly shot my thumb off with one of the hortons. What a mess that was. Thanks for the pic Tar Heel, it has inspired me a bit, and I know that it is possible with a crossbow now, thanks.

I got some good news for you, Tuneup Utilities 2007 does a good job at it. I did thier file restore wizard and it resored a picture I had deleted 2 weeks ago. Try that.

EDIT: im not sure if it checks for things that were deleted before or after the program is installed. Its a handy program too.

X-Bow-Fishing?

Im wondering if anyone has ever tryed to go bow-fishing with an X-Bow? I've got a design in mind that involves making my own braket to fit a spinning reel on the end of the rail, and using the 2 big bolts to attach the bracket. I would be removing the swivel too... does anyone know how to do that? A...

Very nice job Greywolf! How much does filling the rail with fom quite it down? Get a 2 glasses, fill one with water leave the other empty. Flick the empty one. Flick the full one. Compare. Its basicly the principal that sound vibrations need something to travel though to be heard. Sound will travel...

If I were you I would try to get a sample swatch of the metal they used in that model year gun, and try it first. Hate to ruin a decent gun on a DIY project youve never done before. Better yet, ask the local gunsmith if he does it or know of any companies that do.

You will never keep guns or other weapons out of the hands of the 'bad' people, ever. The only way to solve such things is to provide the help to the people, before they do some crazy stuff like this. Im sure there were warning signs, but none of us will really ever know. I hate how this is going to...

So let me get this straight I buy 10 stands and then put them up all year so that I've essentially posted the area for myself. I guess I'll start looking at garage sales for junk stands to hang. :) I was always told that using a stand on public land is fair game as long as you give it up to the own...

Thats sweet! I never would have thought someone could make their crossbow 'tacticle'. A 100 yard shot with a crossbow with AR15 rear sights would be impressive to say the least... after hearing that, I would love to see pictures... pleaaassseeee :)
