I enjoy the 223. I enjoyed this gun but I got a good deal on a gun I have always wanted and that meant this one had to go (you know those wife type rules)

I thought someone had a 22 rimfire on the course yesterday. Think it was just the sound of a lot of corssbows being dryfired  Training wheels are allowed. My bow is full of gadgets that are supposed to help you shoot but in my case, I might be beyond help. Sax, the damndest thing about those br...

Yes, that was me with James. Yes, my score was one that took a nose dive inthe afternoon. I tied the high score in the morning but then dropped to third after the mudbowl back half gator loop  The standing joke with the boy was in fact that "he" was taking holding daddy's hand so dadd...

Hehe, my bow is as far from traditional as you can get without gun powder! Vix, I think you and I chatted breifly at the refreshment counter at the end of the day. Might have been with James from the Bowshop at the time. To be honest, by that time, I was hot, tired and mentally drinking one of the c...

Ryan, you're knowledge of wood exceeds mine by like 1000 times. The first one I did, I had a woodworker such as yourself guide my through it. In fact, he glued and cut the blank for my crossbow. With my gun stocks, I buy the BB in 15x15 pieces. The last stock was 4x 3/4 inch thicknesses wide. I cut ...

Ryan, Eevery now and then I hve come across an inside blank spot. The only ooption is to sand/carve through it and hope it is not a big one. For glue, Gorrilla Glue is best I find. It takes the weather better than any others. When I mate my boards, I make sure there is a 90 deg difference in the gra...

I think we did cross paths a few times. Were u the one who's son had to "find his dad" and show him the way out of the bush? if so, that was me joking about it all day. I am sort of playing connect the faces to the dots after the shoot. I know who Dutch is only because I was one target in ...

Good stuff! Was a great day for a shoot today. SLight brease, warm temps and plenty O sunshine. I think the targets were broken. Every now and then, a 12 spot would move out of the way on me
