I know still a ways away, but I should be able bring some fire wood, a place near my work has dried un-treated 6x6 cut down. Also have 2 bage targets.

I look at it the same way. I am always hunting deer, just can only shot at a sertain time. Love to scout, with three small kids it's hard to get out.LOL.

Aluminums wont splinter they will bend, the carbons can though.
I like the Alu. even target shooting I lose more then I bend. LOL.
Usually I make a dozen a year, keep three to humt and trage shoot with rest.

I have shot both, no noticable improvement. With 2219-22", 125g BH and brass inserts I was up to 588g.
With 2219 the 22" give you about 20 g more than the 20".

I install them in Easton 2216 with hot melt glue. Works well.
The Bow Shop in Waterloo Ontario stock them also.
I think the brass insterts come in two different weights. 85 and 100 or something like that.
