at 34 degrees it will be fine. if it was over 45 degrees then i'd worry

i almost bought my xbow from him. i wound up buying from american archery on ebay. i got my exomax for $459 plus $16 for shipping. i received it in just a couple of days. what mattered alot to me was that they are an authorized excal dealer.

i'm looking for any info, good or bad, on using mechanical heads with a crossbow. any recommended heads based on experience would be appreciated.

there is a dealer on ebay who is listing excal fire bolts for sale for $72 per dozen. they're original excal brand with excal nocks, 4 inch vanes, and he's including a dozen 100 grn field points. shipping was $8. i think he has about 6 or 7 dozen bolts left.

does anyone know where i could buy excal nocks with the threaded ends? thanks

i don't think i'd want to try those trufires. did you notice the poor penetration on that hog. it looked like it only went in about 2 inches

i've read alot of posts on the boo custom strings. what's the difference or advantage of one over a stock flemish fast flight string? they seem to be very popular. thanks

i was wondering if arrow wraps hold up being shot out of a crossbow. i like the idea of wraps but i'm concerned with their longevity.
