Turned out to be one of my better years. Five trips to public land and killed five deer. Camped out with my daughter in law on three of them and she was able to see deer and missed one. Only downside was that I was not able to get a hog this year.

After a quick count of all the deer I've killed over the years, I wound up with an interesting answer. I know I prefer a morning hunt over an evening hunt just for the fact that if I kill one, I don't have to worry about failing light.
