Awesome camera, Bin Laden target and a 210 yard shot..
That dude is living it large!
Only thing that would make it better, is a Luminock to see the arrows flight.

Seeing the arc of that shot would be very interesting.

Re: Could this be the Matrix Ibex Draw Weight?

Good point. It's not like a shotgun blast going off 12" from your face, it's an arrow. A "Twang" ain't as bad as a "BANG".

Re: matrix craze

I finally gave in and ordered a 355 :D looking forward to reading and learning all I can from fellow 355 users.the biggest selling point for me was its overall reduction in size.this will be a very noticeable improvement in my fixed blinds where I do 100% of my hunting All right .. another name to ...

I make the best brunswick stew with pulled pork sammy's you ever had . [/quote] Was driving home from Florida back in the day and stopped to visit a friend in Atlanta, Ga. Her mother served dinner and it was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. The father is sitting there with an entire wall of an...

Re: Could this be the Matrix Ibex Draw Weight?

So I think I misunderstood your question. Your math is correct a Matrix 305 (if there was such a thing) would need a draw weight of 207lbs to develop a velocity of 305 ft/s. Power stroke would be somewhere around 10.5 inches. Sorry I thought you wanted to mount matrix limbs on an ibex and pull them...

Species8472 , Thank You for the response and your in-depth input. Math is not my strong point and I appreciate when other's with a higher intellect in this area help out. I chuckled a bit to myself when I was typing the original post and my wife asked me what in the world I was typing ... she said,...

Re: Just curious

We had a get-together in SE Pennsylvania earlier this year and it was a good time. I hope you find some forum members in your area.

I was talking to my wife over lunch and told her if you mention Brunswick Stew will be at the get-together I may have to drive down.

All the best.

Re: danny miller arrow pullers

I picked up a small, generic holster to hang from my belt. Danny's arrow-puller fits perfect and is there when I need it and out of the way when I don't.

Could this be the "Matrix Ibex" Draw Weight?

I was looking over the specs on the back page of the catalog and wondered if I could use the Matrix 380/355 values to propose the draw weight of a Ibex type Matrix would be. Here goes. Matrix 380 260 lbs. draw weight / 380 fps velocity = 0.68 something Matrix 355 240 lbs. draw weight / 355 fps veloc...

Well, your daughter took the opportunity to give your arrow setup a hard-use test. :D That photograph is precious ... how long you suppose before she lives down the tale of harvesting her first tree? I called her at lunch and asked her what she was going to use to marinate that Oak with. Now that's something ... thanks for sharing.

From the click sound to the hit it seems roughly a second per 100 yards ... impressive.
