Info for new buyer.
Well, after watching me enjoy my time hunting with an Excal my brother has decided to invest in a crossbow as well. As he has a liking to thumbhole stocks and is steering toward the Vortex. I let him know that any model he chooses from excalibur will be a good buy. While I know that the bow will be ...

That stag looks like a sika deer. They are part of the elk family. We have a huntable population here in Maryland. Although I have never taken the opportunity to hunt them, several buddies of mine go each year. I believe this year 3/4 of the party tagged. They are small, a 75lb stag is good sized. T...

Pydpiper I sent you a PM. BTW, did everyone else's string break/fray their rope the same way.... Mine frayed when I was uncocking the bow and the rope came out of the grove on the back of the stock and scraped against the Scope mount area. While mine is not broken in half, it is only a matter of tim...

Go buy a fletcher and make your own. I am sure that the guy would have charged some crazy amount anyway. Making bolts is so easy, as well as rewarding. I think I was getting a dozen bare shafts for around $35. A few more bucks for vanes/feathers and some glue. You can easily build a dozen for under ...

Second of the year
Shot my second doe of the season. This one will not make the contest because of failing batteries in the digital camera. The warm weather was back as well, so getting the deer boned out was priority one. One again the Exocet 200 did everything I could ask. Funny thing was that I had two does coming ...

With the crossbow and the deer and the logo and the reaper and the blood text, its a little busy. But, it is kinda cool. Personally, if you were to go with that theme I would only put the reaper and text on the back and the excal logo on the chest pocket area. I like to wear shirts that people don't...

I hear ya Woody, I did not see my team either. I was just waiting for a pvt msg return, for an agreed name. I think we were going to use Tree Rats, although I like Appalachian Americans. (rednecks) I understand that rules are rules, but it was a contest built for the purpose of having fun. Let me no...
