I just wanted to add my two cents of mechanical experience to this post.I used mechanical Rocket Hammerhead 108 gr. 4 blade 2" x 2" cut for about 8 deer seasons out of my Exocet.I took 6 deer with this tip and not one deer went more than 50 yards. Some blades did bend some after contacting ...

My choice is now vanes.I've used feathers out of my Excal. for the first 13 years but weather, bush travel and targets sometimes got the best of them.2005 I went to vanes and find them more durable for my hunting and shooting pusuits.Vanes get my nod.

The buck didn't know the kid was in town. The buck was now do...

Belleriver,I hunt Whitetail in two Ontario locations. One is 1 1/2 hrs from Windsor and the other is 4 hrs away below Owen Sound. Both locations are excellent.Never hunted in Essex County or in the States for deer.

Thanks Buckshot.
On the Slick Trick website I noticed the 100gr is available in 1" and 1 1/8" widths. Just wondering what you guys found to fly best,or is there no difference between the two in flight characteristics.
