I use one!
I actually asked for and got one for Christmas this past year and smoked up before every hunt the last month of the season. I finally killed my first deer ever, a 3.5 year old buck, while smoked up. This was on heavily hunted public land and on a gun day but I shot him 50 yards from my stand and he ...

What do you think about the Bushnell Red Dot so far? Seem pretty durable, accurate? I've only taken about 3 shots with it on the bow and haven't even sighted it in yet so I really can't answer that fairly. I've played with it inside the house plenty of times though! I hope to get me a new tar...

Chris, I'm using this one (http://www.bushnell.com/general/riflescopes_trophy_73-0135.cfm) on my Exocet. This coming season will be my first hunting with it and the crossbow so I can't give any reviews of it in a hunting situation. I do like the option of red or green light and the different reticle...

It does seem silly that you cannot use a bow that shoots an arrow, during archery season. I am composing a letter for the deciders of such things to consider. Here in Florida, crossbows are only legal during rifle season. Like that makes sense. Off hand- how many states allow crossbows during arche...

Discussion Topic: On The Crossbow Trend
There is a discussion on the Field & Stream website about the trend of more and more states allowing the use of crossbows during hunting season. Some of the comments are pretty good with most of them being in support of crossbows. This one is my favorite: As I've stated before, it cracks me up h...

Thanks for the reply Grizz. I'm probably stressing over this a little too much but everyone seems to love the Vari-Zone and Lumi-Zone scopes that Excalibur puts out so I've just been waiting (not so patiently) to see what they put out for us Excalibur shooters that cannot use a magnified scope. I'm ...
