Target capable of handling the 405...
so, i for whatever reason never made a old clothes burlap sack target for my bows. never had a need, commercial bag targets always worked well enough for me. Well, until i got the 405. it literally blows through targets rated to handle 400 fps "Bolts" (not getting into the bolt vs arrow di...

150 grain broadheads....
I LOVE the bolt cutters. i used them with my Vortex, and Gold Tip laser 2 with brass inserts... i know thats a little Overkill for FOC but i had NO problems with them, in fact they shot well out to 60 yards with no issues. I plan on shooting 150 grain tips out of this one, more or less to slow the F...

I didn't really want or need the monsterous power, but my local sporting goods shop (small business) is owned by a Masonic Brother of mine, and he gave me a scr...

Re: Slick Tricks
i got my Montec Stainless Steel's very very scary sharp... Smiths Orange diamond sharpener... then moved down to the 600 grit G5 sharpener, then 1200 grit side... then stropped on the back of a business card (Cardstock). it shaved armhairs very easily... i would not hesitate to sling one at somethin...

Re: D Bars/S5 fps Question
There should be no difference in FPS, since the bars and pads have no effect on the limbs/string until after the bow shot cycle is essentially completed. as far as leaving the bars on? i would. they may add a little bit of weight, but i imagine if it makes your bow 1% quieter, its worth it to me.

Firebolts Vs GT laser II

I notice they feel and handle identicle to the Firebolts and i understand they used to be sold as excaliburs arrows. the POI is slightly different so ther...
