Miller1, Fantastic questeion, but let me try and break down the answer to this. the S5 system is designed to do more than just sound... in fact, i feel it really didn't do much as far as sound. the S5 stands for... Being active duty military, i have a near endless supply of 550 paracord. i take a section, tie a few loops in the end, no serving and use it away... when it starts to show wear due to no serving, i toss it and tie a new one... my bow was used and didn't come with a stringing aid....
