XX75 but what arrow, 2216...2219? I have just got some XX75 2219 and added Gold Tip II brass inserts to them to give me a better front of center (just over 10%) and I still use 100 grain broadheads.

I'm shooting the Phoenix, I'm hoping to be getting around 280 or 285 out of it with my boo string but I kind of doubt it. But like you say it should be accurate.I know that their will be a big difference between a 401 grain Gold Tip and this 546 grain monster. Thats a difference of 145 grains.

Thank you for your response. I knew they were going to be a little heavy but my max range is only 30 yards so I didn't think it would make that much difference. I guess we'll see.

Congratulations on your nanny, I had the same thing happen on the 7 point I got a couple of days ago. Good shot but no blood trail. Blew my mind considering the hole he had in him.
