Hate to rock your boat and spill the beer but Obama is ahead of McCain by double digits now. As I understand that US voting system there are no reason to listen to polls. The largest democracy of the world has a president that was first elected with about 100 000 votes less than his competitor. In ...

you are in a t shirt in the picture and i am again going to assume that you will have more clothing on during archery season.... I practice indoors mostly during winter, which means t-shirt. Outside I use a t-shirt and a thin wind breaker until it gets colder than -5C°, then I switch to a jacket wi...

What screws to loctite

Today my scope shook lose. I suddenly notices that I had to tilt the bow to get the crosshair strait and then I noticed that the entire scope was movable. The screws on the scope rings had been loosened up by vibrations (the A screws according to the picture). http://www.lysator.liu.se/~skarek/pictu...

Should I make the crossbow stock longer?

I wonder if anyone of you have experience with making the crossbow stock longer? I'm 190 cm tall and have quite long arms. It feels like the stock is a bit short for me. I notice that I mostly don't press it against my shoulder when I shoot, which should in theory lower the precision. If you look at...

I use a Plano double rifle case just like Digger did. Workes well the only draw back is that I haven't found a way to fit the arrows and the quiver in the case.

Diggers case, but mine looks the same (with a Phoenix instead)

I'm not a hunter (as it's illegal here), but when I walk in the woods with my bow I usually carry it on my sholder (bow behind my back, holding the stock). There is a grove in the stock that makes it quite comfortable. When the vegitation gets denser I usualy just tilt it so the bow becomes vertical...

If it's only 100 calories, but 70% of them are from fat, it's NOT a good choice! Much better to pick a choice with a few more calories, but much less fat IMHO. Sorry I must say no on that one. Fat is good in the way that it makes you feel satisfied with the food faster. What you have to remember is...

One thing I don't understand, how does a treadmill help or loosing weight help??? In short, easy terms. After a meal the blood sugar rises as the food is metabolized. The normal reaction is to release insulin to stimulate uptake of glucose in muscles and building of glycogen (the way glucose is sto...

A picture of it, maybe :). This is what communities and forums are for, sharing ideas...

I store mine in an old discarded arrow that I have attached to my hip quiver so it's not even that of a problem to carry around.

My arrow puller is ready

I want to start by thanking Benny Olofsson in Göteborg for the idea, Robin Allen ( balistarius ) for sending me a 8-32 die and Torsten Almén for sending me the metal rods. Anyway. Now I have build my arrow puller that pulls from the "tip" of the arrow. It is made of a 4 mm steel rod with a...
