Re: Locking your climber
I'm going to hunt the evening hunt. Chain the climber. Return before dawn to hunt againthen pack it out when I leave in the morning. I figure not many guys will stumble upon it and have the time to go get the needed tool to steal it. heck I might bump into them if they're that quick.

Re: Lumenock
I just ordered some and the install will happen in August. I may need his help. I split the first carbon arrow on my first installation last fall. I'll be more delicate this time.

Re: Lumenock Instal Issue
Thanks. I`ll proceed with caution. I can use the rod to remove the Lumenock from the arrow that`s splintered at least. I know that one isn`t glued in.

Re: Lumenock Instal Issue
Isn`t the original aluminum nock glued in Sproulman. Can you just tap it out with the rod without heating the nock. Sorry keyboard is acting up ...no question marks.

Re: Lumenock Instal Issue
Thanks guys. I might have compromised the carbon when I heat the aluminum nock to remove it but I sure didn`t force it enough to split the arrow. I`ve ordered some new Lumenocks and we`ll see if they fit snug without causing splitting. I wondered about that very issue Foofoo.

Lumenock Instal Issue
Last year I split the carbon express arrow slightly when I installed the Lumenock. I like the lighted nock but I`m not wild about the install. Has anyone had a carbon arrow split with install or is it something I`ve done.

Re: trail cam theft
I gave up on cameras. I had a $170 camera swiped last fall. The guy came back three more times (based on tracks in the snow) over the next two months to see if I would put out another camera. I'll hunt the old-fashioned way rather than worry about my cameras.

Re: southern ontario bow season
BTW I've never had tag soup but unless we get some cold weather I'm going to have a double batch to "enjoy".
I'm going down to one purchase next year regardless of tag availability. There are other activities I enjoy almost as much but this has become an OBSESSION!

Re: southern ontario bow season
I hunt a property in zone 80. I bumped one deer on the walk into my stand. Only yearlings on the camera at a feed site. The hunters on the adjoining property didn't do well in the controlled hunt. I've hunted this spot about 6 times. In zone 82A I had a doe blowing at me the first day of the gun hun...

Re: Need help picking a trail cam
I have a Cuddieback I really like. No shutter sound and the Black flash really is black. Stay away from UWay cameras. Lots of problems and so so warranty help.

I have the early version of that scope without the speed dial and I've never had a problem with sighting it in.

Need the inside diameter of a Gold Tip II
Hi Folks. I'm looking to order some lighted nocks. I shoot an older bow and I stayed with the factory issued Gold tip II bolt. Does anyone know off hand what inside diameter nock I should order? I don't have a caliper at home.
Thanks for any help.

Re: goose hunting
The Migratory Bird Act is international between Canada, U.S. and Mexico. I was told by an Ontario CO Supervisor several years ago that hunting migratory birds with a crossbow was illegal. Is that only in Ontario? Checking the Canadian regulations it appears crossbows are still illegal.
