great post grizz! i sent it to one of my prospective hunter step-sons. anything we happen to harvest with the help of God is a blessing and nothing in my opinion is more satisfying than watching my family eat with gusto what i have shot , butchered, and cooked. :D

i went to both websites (gold tip and easton). the gold tip weight is 7.3 grains per inch and the easton weight is 10.5 grains per inch. thought i'd put that out there as many who build arrows are concerned about weight and FOC etc. :)
