2024 take your kids hunting Pics.
I'll start for 2024. We set up in my usual spot, we were graciously gifted a Hawk semi hard sided blind from GSM Outdoors a couple seasons ago so I set that up for the first time as it was going to be chilly. My first time in a big blind. I can see how people get used to this style of hunting. But I...

Hey Guys, I just got my newly designed cheek rest from Tyler. If you haven't checked his stuff out, do it now. It's perfect for my custom Micro Axe.

Re: RevX has arrived!
I finally got a chance to do the 20 yard sight in. The learning curve on this bow is short and sweet, a great improvement over the Assassin. Decocking is awesome! The RevX has surprisingly less feedback in noise and shock and this was with the stock string  I am eager to find the time to m...

Nice looking stuff there Tyler. That new filament really does print smooth.
With your skillset and attention to detail, I'm confident these will all be nice additions to people's bows. Keep it up my friend!

Re: Spring Texas hog hunting
Jeff, that whole area is loaded with hogs. You should be able to find plenty of places to fill your needs. For Turkeys, you'll need to move west from there. Might be a few in that area, but nothing like you'll find in Central Texas. Lots of places around San Antonio and Bandera to hunt Turkeys. Wha...

Re: Turkeys
I still love hunting turkey with a 12 bore.
Mind you around here these days you can just use a soft ball. They have broken up now, but they are strutting like crazy in every field.

Re: What the heck is wrong with people today?
We get it all the time on our property at work. I post the HD video on FB and like clockwork, their neighbours ALWAYS message me and identify them by their vehicles. More often then not, they come pick it up. So with that said, if you think you are on good terms with your neighbours. Chances are, yo...

Re: Winner Hatchet -Xmas - 6 Free Norms Arrows Contest
I came to this thread to congratulate Corey on his Woody. arrows. But I'm glad I read it all, and didn't make any comments not fit for a family forum. Sure is nice to see them go to a good home. Hope they bring Sophie some good luck! Have fun on the ice, be safe. And what a beautiful brookie

Re: Shim Scope
With an open mind…… how about sight in at 20, then shoot using 30 yrs. chevron and SEE where you are zero. It may be 27 or 26 but who cares . My deer don’t come out in increments of 10. 40 yrs might be34 or 35. Who cares if it is 20-30-40 jmho( but me thinks y’all are overthinking’) How come with a...

Re: How cold is too cold
In my experience, in general at -23°C is when mechanical devices start to operate different and break for no apparent reason aside from prolonged exposure to the cold. Not to say that things won't break in warmer or colder temps. But around work I start to see a significant uptick in breakages below...
