Re: New to forum/newbie question

Thank you all for the warm welcome and the replies. Thanks for the tips I will leave the standard string for the time being, I just thought I would buy a replacement string since the store I buy my hunting gear at is a ways away (it's a lot cheaper than the local stores). I also bought a pack of si...

Re: Brass Inserts

The brass inserts allow me to continue using my choice broadhead, slick trick 100 grain mags. I found my groups tightened up at 40 / 50 yards with the added weight up front. I use gold tip laser II's though.

Re: What broadheads are best for turkey?

I like the Spitfire Gobbler Getter....Haven't let me down and have a large cut. I also have used the Turkey Tomahawk which left a devastating wound.

Re: Firebolt arrows in Ontario/Canada — online reseller?

I was up there a couple weeks ago and they had the field points and firebolts in stock. The store stock may be limited this week if at the Sportsman Show. I would call and see. I think they are updating their website.

Re: Just got a call Edited:Pictures are included

Warning to all you Good Folks In Ontario: I just got a call from a really good looking young 21 year old Nova Scotian arriving at the Lester B. Pearson Airport in Toronto at around 8:10AM Ontario time. Soon to be heading for the Kitchener/Waterloo area. White male, 5' 10", dark brown hair, cle...

Re: 20" or 22" Bolts

I was thinking about trying 22 inch shafts as well. Thinking the length may allow for an increased FOC and better stabilization with 100 grain broadheads.

Someone on here must have tested this.....

Re: Broadhead vs Target Points

I think that the best target you can buy for broadheads is the Rinehart 18:1. I'm starting on my 3rd season with mine. Took it moose hunting this fall and had 4 chaps shooting broadheads at the one side for the week. The way its going I think I will still get another 4 years out of this target. Wel...

Re: Just for curiosity, what is the maximum range of an Exom

Interesting thread...... While moose hunting this year our camp was in a sand pit used by the logging companies. And boys being boys, a friendly competion started between a Exocet and a Bowtech Destroyer 350. If I recall right, the excal found a post 100 yards out in 3 shots. Was quite interesting t...

Re: deer getting hit by cars

Found this guy on the side of the road during the first Shotgun hunt. This brought the total to 3 road kill bucks in the area around where I hunt.

What a waste....

A Ford Focus was demolished after hitting this one broadside.
