It's the same old chit here in Ohio. Rain, rain, rain. What really torques me off is the fluctuating temperatures. I burn wood. Got a good fire going and my god the outdoor temperature went up 10 degrees in about an hour. Now it's hotter than heII in here.

Come on hard freeze

Horray for you.... I would much rather kill a young doe than a buck anyday. Of course I hunt for food and don't care about trophies. Hell I killed a 220# Sow Bear this year and if I hadn't gotten a deal on the rug I'd have had to really think twice about paying $850 for taxidermy. Different strokes ...

Maybe that's what got my hens... Yes I think my heart took about 15 minutes to slow down again. I'll tell you what, I like my hens and the eggs they give me a hell of a lot better than any stinking cat wild or not. If I see it - it'll be a duster.

Scared the s#$@ outa me...

As some of you know, I am also a coyote hunter. My most productive time is in the nights. Anyhow I went out last night and had'nt even set up my electronic call and the local fire department blew off their main whistle at the fire station. Shortly after out came the trucks blowing their sirens past ...

Looks like a gray fault line in the steel to me. I'd send it back to manufacturer and see what they say. I think they should give you a new one.

I a bit lazy at times. I paid the guys at cleaning station $11.00 to do em all... My god it took an hour and a half to butterfly them. I thought that was worth $11. I took a nap after getting off the lake with a windburn and sun burn while they cleaned them all. Lake Erie can be a little rough in a ...

I FREAKING LOVE LAKE ERIE YELLOW PERCH! We went up to Port Clinton, Oh in September and landed enough yellow perch to make 19# of fillets. Just frying up my first batch tonight and OMG they are good!

I love to fool with machining also. I can't stand it if I'm not learning something new so MIG welding, ornamental iron work and machining are my current new things to learn. I'd be interested in buying one also. Let me know when you have them available, but (((DON'T))) let it screw up your time in t...

Anybody else heat with wood?

I got tired of the gas prices last year and put a wood heater in my house. I just love it! In the nine previous years that I lived in this house, I was always cold. Just never warmed up. Immediately with the woodstove, I opened two windows and they stay open all winter to get rid of a little heat. I...

Hey man - great job. It's a thrill ain't it? I have a new Phoenix and shot a 175# doe with same broadhead this year. It did a good job. I so poor after buying the box and accessory kit that I can't experiment around this year on broadheads. Maybe next year. These WASP's did a good job for me. DrDan

What is that powder used to see air currents???

Dang it I saw it somewhere. It was little squeeze bottles that blow out a powder that will show the least little air current. I need to get some for coyote season. I see Cabela's sells some containers with some kind of fluff in them, but I think the powder may be better.

Two items: #1 You have picked up a little gray hair since the Tux photo. Has this deer hunting done this to you? #2 No blood on that heart so this must have been a post-morteum change. Did you poke a broad head through that heart after washing it off? Just giving you a hard time. Congrats DrDan
