OK guys, rags are ok but are heavy to lug about, and do not stop arrows all the time.
Use neoprene, get hold of a wetsuit maker or a company that makes waders and ask for off cuts, you will need a fair bit to stuff in a bag but it works and is light. Stops my matrix arrows very well.

Re: Scopes ???
The reason why most things are made in China or Taiwan (including alot of Harley parts) is simple, it is because it is cheaper to have them made there, R&D might happen in the country of origin but it is good business sense. simple really. what might cost 90 or 150 USD to make there could cost a...

Alternatively I drill out the allen socket and use a commercial extractor.

lesson learned
OK so out of the 4 stock arrows that I received with my blackout and the 20 I had waiting for it to arrive I now have 3 operational, 4 of the 24 have been robin hooded and the rest have very unhappy fletchings, I believe the moral of this story is  DO NOT shoot your arrows at the same spot.......

Hawke XB-30 Compact. Optical clarity is much better than last years XB1 model. The illumination dial has been replaced with a digital touchpad. The illumination goes down to a lower level than before, so that the light doesn't flood the scope and wash out the reticle. Merging of the reticle has bee...

Re: Update on my 355
Ive put 2 shots on the stock string and over 200 on my first Boo string (I have 2) with minimal wear.
happy with results, just getting a new scope soon as I am not a fan of the TZ.
I think we should all start stockpiling Boo strings, just incase he retires

Re: Grain Scale
if you can not find one, get a set of digital scales and weigh your arrow, take the weight and go online and convert, in on line conveyer, thats what I do and its super easy, when you have done it enough times or you write down the chart and bingo.
