Re: Who else is shooting an old school Excalibur?

I still have my new to me[ modified by me ] Vixen---my Exocet 200---my new in boxes Y25---
my Matrix 355.------However; for me to get a new Micro at least one of my bows ; either these
or my verticals has to go to get the cash.

How do you get rid of an old friend and companion ?

Re: obstruction of hunt advice

What a friend of mine did was---bought 2 cans of spray paint ! One white and one black ! He caught the dogs and--the light coloured dogs he sprayed a bullseye with black paint; and the dark coloured ones with a white bullseye---then he turned them loose. Well; the dog owner[s] put in a complaint wit...

A picture showing the difference would be perfect for those of us like me who
sometimes need the visual approach to clear up the confusion.

Re: Finally got to compare !

Vixenmaster-----------I hear you loud and clear------our wives must be related [ ] mine doesn't miss much very often either. My problem is that I also like recurves and longbows and I guess I have a lot of stuff. Mine is usually very tolerant and I wouldn't trade her for anything. She has put ...

Finally got to compare !

Well yesterday I saw the 355 and the Micro side by side on a rack; and handled them. I have a 355 and wanted to compare them.----Wow is all I can say ! The Micro is shorter ; lighter ; narrower .It is nice------BUT-----there is not that much difference to me ; other than size from my 355. If I did n...

Re: i was decocking and.......WTF !!!

After reading all these horror stories---I checked my 355 and my old vixen for ridges at the seam in the cocking string groove--------and both had a ridge---which is now gone. The other bows will get done if needed at a later date. The little white spot will help in string placement. Another timely ...

Re: Just Another Case of God's Will Being Different than Min

Anthony ! I also belong to the bad back club---from [ old too soon smart too late.] Now I have to be very careful what I do- nothing is automatic anymore--I have to think it out before I do it. So---I guess a c2 crankeroo is in the works for me to go along with the original one ; for any chance at a...

Re: Matrix 355 vs Micro 335 Cocking Effort?

This information is very interesting to this old Pharte in his 73rd. year and makes me think maybe I should stay with my 355 and my others. The extra oomph required to cock the micro might take all the enjoyment out of it as most of my shooting except for hunting is multiple shots. Just my thoughts-...

Re: Micro 335 now on Excalibur Home Page

I also got the email.-----However there does not appear to be that much difference in performance when compared with my 355; but I have only seen pictures and have not had it in my hands to make a better comparison. I like the idea of it being smaller and more compact----would fit in perfectly in so...

Re: Relayer Y25 question

I bought a stock from EXCALIBUR to fit the Y25--to replace the right handed stock that came with my bow. If I ever decide to shoot my Y25 it will be with the non wood replacement that I bought . AS you can guess I shoot left handed . All my Y25 stuff is stored away and I look at pictures. When I bou...
