If you have your xbow hung near the ceiling the extra heat up there in the winter may be causing the pads to crack because they are also under tension. As soon as hunting season is over[usually within 3 weeks ] I have my bow unstrung and the pads taken off. It seems to work for me.

HI all---I have an exocet about 10 years old.the limbs started slivering on edges-------so I got new limbs with mag tips---and added dissipator bars.I have no idea what my speed is.Everything works very well using my original 2117 and 125 thunderheads.-----But I am thinking of upgrading to an exocet...
