I've only shot one buck so far this season, and it was taken at 15 yards with a traditional bow shooting instinctively.

Congratulations on the buck, huntman.

You stuck with it, and ended up taking him down in the end.

I fletch my crossbow bolts with 4" duravanes and tip them with a 125 grain Montec head, and I use 4" feathers on my arrows for my compound and recurve.

That was a great read, and very moving.
