Snow Camo

I've used clippings from my neighbours cedar hedge along with Krylon spray paint to Camo-up several old single shot shotguns. They look fantastic when done. I like to peel away some of the cedar loobs to open up the pattern. The 3-D effect using just two colours is amazing. Make sure all parts to be...

Va Bigbore: Did Cabelas give you a reason as to why you were not supposed to lube an Excalibur Rail/Deck????? Excess wax on the strings center serving will transfer over time to the deck causing build-up. This in turn will slow the speed of the string and cause it to chatter as the string travels al...

Easton Game Getter 2 Bolts

The 400 series ( 2216 ) Game Getter 2's make very good aluminum bolts. Cut to 20 in. with aluminum inserts front and back. With 2in. Blazers your weight should be around 325 grs. For a little better FOC, tip with a 125 gr. The black shafts with the silver buck tracks on the shaft also make a very ni...

Deck Lube

You may want to try Scorpion Venom rail lube. It is a polymer substance that has no ill effect on your string or serving. I've just applied it to my Y25 and Vixen. Small amount on each side of the rail and use a clean clothe to rub it in. There is no build up and the rail surface is EXTREMLY smooth....

Red Wolverine

I've had this old Wolverine for about 3 years and wanted to do something different with it. This Excal shot its last deer (6point buck ) last fall in Marmora, Ont. The string of course is a Red/Black Boo dacron. The paint work was done by a friend of mine in Oshawa. I built some GT Lazer 2's with Bl...
