I have the lumizone and have never seen the varizone. First thing I thought when I pulled the scope out of the box was Holy Crap that is what you see on a 30-06. it has been great so far. I had to buy a new battery for it. The one that came in it had died $3 and it was good to go. I thought it would...

I would get in contact with your state represenatives and ask them. They make the rules. They should know them. With all the tax revenue dwindling in the state from the car companies it wouldnt surprise me if they did change that this year to make up shortfalls. Sorry you have had that experience. I...

I dont have any equipment for arrows yet. I saw some kits on a website last night when I was hunting for some new arrows. I thought about building my own. I wll probably buy a dozen pre fletched then get the stuff to make and repair them on my own. Seems like it would add another level to my target ...

Replacing half moon nock?
I found some 20" 2219 firebolt arrows with 5" feathers but they have a half moon nock. To switch them out is it as easy as pulling the half moons out and pushing in the flat nocks in their place? Can you shoot a half moon nock out of an Excalibur? Are aluminum arrows ok or will they get al...

It was a GREAT Fathers Day. My Dad and I went to the range with the crossbow. He had never shot one before, so we were at the range from open till close. I think he has the fever. should we be expecting a new member here soon   I think we might! I am working on it. We are going on ...

crossbow fever
I just got my crossbow 2 weeks ago and have made it out to the range 4 times so far, and have shot over100 times and broke an arrow already. It went after 50 shots 3 through the 1" plywood back stop. I have shot all my arrows into a static target The conservation range I go to has 3D targets as...

That is great news njxbow! Has anyone heard if Missouri is talking about rewriting our bow laws? Just does not make sense to me why anyone would classify a crossbow in the same category as a 30-06 or even a .22 for hunting. If you had shot them you wouldn't think that. If you had hunted with them yo...
