Re: Which Crossbow
I'm getting 1 1/2 in. groups at 40 yds. with my Suppressor shooting from my hunting chair. My arrows are BE Zombies with 150 grain fixed blade broadheads total arrow weight around 440 grains, FOC of 23. I don't have a chronograph but when I had the Tactzone on the bow it was sitting @ 320 with the 4...

Re: Boofest prizes
I was wondering how much interested there would be in a friendly dart competition at this years Boofest? http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/Czy_Horse/20160827_0922551.jpg My initial thought is something fast and set up for all to participate. So how's a game of 201 sound? -one ticket per bow to...

Caps Lock is freaking rude, I'll up your yelling and scream back at you!
I DID NOT PUT THEM BACK ON MY SUPPRESSOR AFTER I CHANGED OUT THE FACTORY STRING FOR A FLEMISH. I COULD NOT GET THEM PLACED WHERE I WANTED ON A FLEMISH STRING.

Re: Spring hunting & black flies
The OFAH was a good idea for getting a thermacell. I know a thermacell works real well on mosquitoes, but how well does it work on blackflies? Anyone suggest some head gear? I used to have a mesh 'bug suit' that worked real good wore a ball cap under to keep mesh off my face, but I cannot find a sim...

Re: Do you worry about leaving your recurve cocked for exten
This is a link to an Excalibur advertisement on the subject. http://www.excaliburcrossbow.com/videos/player/494 I personally will leave any of one my bows for 3 or 4 days cocked to stretch out a new string. I've started doing this almost 30 years ago with my Wolverine. If I was going to do a round o...

Re: Excalibur's core four
I try to get the Wolverine out a couple of times a year. It's more fun doing rounds of 3D targets, being easier to cock and easier to remove the arrows from target. http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/Czy_Horse/Online%20Pics/DSCN0582.jpg Bow was bought new in Sept. 1987. It's starting showing it...

Machine screw size.
I cannot seem to find the thread about using a machine screw in your plastic nock to simulate the weight of a Luminock. What size was that machine screw?

Re: HELP IN DECISION OF XBOW
If you are considering a Micro 355, have look at the Supressor. I like it more than the Micro 335 I had. For all the 'added weight' concerns, at 5.4 lbs., it's only 0.2 lbs. heavier than a 5.2 lb. Micro 355. It balances well and is a joy to shoot, I find shooting 440 grain arrows, there is little to...
