Thinking about a M310
I have been shooting a Vixen for quite a few years and find it sufficient for my needs but with Uncle Arthur coming to visit more often I think a shorter and lighter bow would work better. Thinking about the Matrix 310 for now but would like to know if it gets the advertised 310 fps or at least clos...

Re: 2015 excalibur grizzly.
Seems like it would be like a shorter narrower Ibex. Seems i remember someone commenting that the SMF rail was a little faster and quiter on the Axiom. I would consider one myself. Anyone know when they will be coming out.

Re: Quiver Bracket
Welcome to the forum. Try eBay. I've seen them on there for 6.99 plus shipping or 10.99 shipped. Bowhunters super store has them as well. Good luck.

Re: Dissipator Bar or S5
I have an Axiom and was shooting it this week at my sons house. Sounded pretty loud to me and it does have the S-5 on it. My son even said it was kind of loud. So I got an idea, told my son to shoot the bow while I was in the general vicinity of the target which was 20 yards away to get the deers pe...

Re: EX Lube and EX Oil
Will this oil work well on the composite rail on the Axiom? If not might get some for my son's bow. I use jig-a-loo on the Vixen but not sure if that's safe on the composite rail. Thanks

Vixen seekers
For all those looking for a Vixen, there's a Black Vixen on eBay with a starting bid of $275. Just thought I'd pass that along.

Thanks rt2, that sounds good. Might have to try that route first. Should't have to take off too much I don't think.

S5 question
I bought one for my 2006 Vixen to see if it would make any difference when I use a FFF string. Everything says it will fit 2004 and newer Ecals but when I try to put it on the holes don't want to line up properly and the screws won't go in. If I swap then around they don't want to fit straight. Do t...

Re: arrow weight
I'm shooting 360 gr Gold Tip Laser II's out of my Vixen at 262 fps. Also use 430 gr 2216's at 256 fps.

Re: Axiom speed
Thanks Cossack. So everything being equal so to speak it should get about 280 with the 425 grain arrows. Plenty good enough. He's just about to order one and I'm hoping he loses interest in it so I can inherit it to play with. I still enjoy taking the Vixen though.

Re: Axiom speed
Thanks Okxbowhunter. I'll let him know. He has an older Buckbuster 150 that does about 295 fps with heavy alum but he likes the way I can change strings without the hassle of a wheel bow.

Axiom speed
Just curious if anyone shoots aluminum arrows in the Axiom at about 425 grains and what kind of speed it gets. Like I say I'm just curious. My son is thinking about getting one. I hope he does and doesn't like it so I can get a new bow. Of course I'm trying to get him to buy an Exocet. Ha Ha!! My Vi...

Re: Hip Quivers
footed shaft, no it doesn't come with a quiver, just the adapter then you attach any quiver you want. I am using an Excal quiver with mine.
