Re: Welcome to license/permit/tag/stamp season.
I spent $10 to apply for a Missouri elk tag and I was not one of the five who were drawn. Other than that, as a landowner with more than 75 acres I get 4 archery deer tags, two archery turkey tags, three firearms deer tags and two firearms turkey tags - all at no charge. It's good to be a landowner...

Re: Special run on discontinued bows
I wouldn't pay todays prices for a classic Excalibur. that's because I already own one. It's the Exocet 200, which back in the day was more reasonablely priced. It's a sweet shooting crossbow, and I'll never sell it for any price. However, my personal favorite was the Exomag. It also had a 20...

Re: Who Misses The Old Bows
I've owned at least a "baker's dozen" of Excalibur x-bows. Starting with the Wolverine (1989), then most of the Exo-series, several Matrix and one Micro (Axe 340). Of the lot, the Vixens were the most "bullet proof". According to Bill Troubridge, even dryfiring them wouldn't harm...

Re: Welcome to license/permit/tag/stamp season.
Look at it this way, all these "taxes" are fueling the economy, and that's a good thing. However, what irks me is that although some of the funds help run and subsidize society, a lot is misused and squandered. That's the nature of public collected funds. Sadly, that's the world we live in...

Re: Lord Stanley's Cup
I heard this on local radio the other morning going to work. Sports talk guy said after Tampa Bay won Stanley Cup, that a Canadian team had won The Cup only once in last 30 years. That can’t be true can it? I don’t follow hockey, but seems near impossible. For all you hockey guys. Yes that is true....

Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Bolts on their 2nd consecutive Stanley Cup. It was well deserved.

Re: Covid comas take various forms
COVID has done more than put some people in a coma. Some have become forgetful, confused, out of touch with reality, and even paranoid and feeling threatened. Hopefully, when all this insanity is over, they'll come back to their senses.

Re: Excalibur Exomax Crossbow
The ExoMax was introduced in 2004 and was discontinued in 2014. Up until 2008 it had the aluminum anodized rail. Beginning in 2009, it came with the Realtree Hardwood camo rail to match the stock and limbs.

Re: *Update Upsetting Christmas Day and now a second one
Losing a loved one, whether human or pet, is never easy. It leaves a empty space in one's life. All one can do is keep their memory and good times alive in our daily thoughts, and be grateful for the time we got to spend with them while they were with us.

Wishing all those south of the border a happy 4th of July. Hopefully it will be celebrated with earnest, unlike here in Canada where it was either cancelled, or a very subdued affair.

Re: Sparp useful cutting tools review
The introduction of the replaceable blades has certainly changed the landscape of cutlery. It has revolutionized the shaving blade industry. Now anyone can shave themselves, without fear of slitting their throat with a straight razor. So I suppose that there's a market for knives with replace...

Re: Excaliber customer service
In my few incidents where I needed "customer service", Excalibur has always gone "above and beyond". That is why I have been a loyal customer since 1989.

Re: Lord Stanley's Cup
Actually, it's the replica that Tampa got to handle last year. The truth be known, the real Cup has always lived up north in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. That's the reason why since 1967, Toronto has chosen not compete for it. Considering that the NHL is a business and no longer a spor...
