Texas is famous for its weather changes. In Sept we were in the middle of a drought 60days with 100degree temps no rain in months. October brought heavy rains and Skeeters are every where. Nov more rain bigger SKEETERS. The deer are moving in the mornings,mid 80's in the afternoon

bullets whizzing
If you ever heard that sound of bullets whizzzing around you, you never forget. Thats one reason for hunting with a xbow, not so likely to return fire out of pure reflexes. sometimes you don't sleep at all for a very long time.

Here in Texas game wardens are damn near god. They come and go where and when they please. They have combinations for most of the gates and keys for the locks. My area game warden comes to the house when he wants he knows where the keys are and comesby to use the john. He leaves his card on the spam...

What they can't jump they crawl over or dig under. when I was in 4h they killed my show sheep inside a 6ft tall fence.Ikilled him the next week when I got a blating lamb call and he had wool still in his teeth.
