Double header Friday!
My young buddy and I both filled our remaining archery tags on Dec 18.....2 large mature does. The colder weather has sure increased the daylight deer sightings as of late. This is my pals 2nd year bowhunting with a hand me down Exocet 165....he has tried very hard this year to close the deal and fi...

Re: Tagged 1 At The Buzzer
Great story and pics....good things come to those who wait!!!
I think the easy days of deer hunting in Southern Ontario have passed us by for a few years.....this makes sending an arrow on a perfect shot(like you did) only that much more rewarding!
Good luck with the sinus infection!

Re: Fresh snow = nice doe!
Answer for Ghost: Rangefinder mount is pretty good....slight wobble with the velcro as expected. I do not leave it on the bow all the time when hunting...only when I watch the edge of fields. I have a basic bushnell scout(got it free with airmiles!) so I bought the mount. I find that the R.F. needs ...

This is my third deer for the year.....over 40 sits on the stand since my Oct 26th spike buck harvest. Lots of effort to harvest this one. This location has great potential but I have been unable to make a shot here until today. In mid November I had my first ever responce to rattling when a great b...

The stand is actually not mine but a close friend who let my buddy (the new phoenix owner) use it that morning. The owner of the stand takes his young son with him..therefore the double seat. The roof is actually another stand above for camera or arrow work. 2 small deer were taken simultaneously on...
