Butt, I feel the same way. I've gotten so tired of it raining every chance I have to hunt that I picked up one of those string trackers, so I don't have to worry as much about losing the blood trail. I haven't sighted it in yet, but I'll try and do it later today, in the rain of course.

Excuse my lack of knowledge about bobcat hunting, but what do you do with it after you've shot it. Do you have it mounted, use the fur, eat the meat ??

Someone just informed me that one was killed by a car 2 years ago at Union Hall, just outside of Almonte. I didn't hear about it at the time and thought we were too far south. I'd prefer not to run into one of those puppies, unless I'm in my Jeep.
