I bought the replacement trigger (from Wyvern). This is recommended for Ibex etc. to give clearance in the stock slot where the trigger goes through. This one is red. I think on the Matrix series a replacement trigger is not needed so use the original Excal black one. Someone else may know more.....

Thanks, Dash. That is what I figured I would need to do. The tapes have 1 yard calibrations on them which allows for fine adjustment (especially on a slope). I really only need 5m intervals out to 60m so I can do what you suggest.

Can you guys think of a way of applying this to the HHA Optimizer sight which has all the supplied tapes in yards. Can I set one of these to work 10 - 60 meters?

Thinking about trying an Apex crossbow for a bit of fun. One club I shoot at will allow "target" crossbows but not "sporting". I think it is really draw weight and related target damage rather than style of crossbow. Wondering what would be the best bolts to shoot from an Apex? I...
