Re: Red triggers ?
I bought the replacement trigger (from Wyvern). This is recommended for Ibex etc. to give clearance in the stock slot where the trigger goes through. This one is red. I think on the Matrix series a replacement trigger is not needed so use the original Excal black one. Someone else may know more.....

Re: Like To Install a TT Trigger But .......
Got my 2.5lb two stage TriggerTech from Wyvern this afternoon and installed it without difficulty. (Bit more than the 10mins some have suggested - but I guess I am just cautious!). Only shot 3 bolts in the back yard before the light went but it feels brilliant. Great product and great service from W...

Re: Yards vs Metres
Thanks, Dash. That is what I figured I would need to do. The tapes have 1 yard calibrations on them which allows for fine adjustment (especially on a slope). I really only need 5m intervals out to 60m so I can do what you suggest.

Re: Yards vs Metres
Can you guys think of a way of applying this to the HHA Optimizer sight which has all the supplied tapes in yards. Can I set one of these to work 10 - 60 meters?

Bolts for Apex
Thinking about trying an Apex crossbow for a bit of fun. One club I shoot at will allow "target" crossbows but not "sporting". I think it is really draw weight and related target damage rather than style of crossbow. Wondering what would be the best bolts to shoot from an Apex? I...

TriggerTech - fitting to an Ibex
Can someone who has done it give me a quick run down on the fitting of a TriggerTech to my Excal? Is it an easy operation for a first timer?
thanks

Re: Heavy arrows for Aus buff
Have a look at Outback Broadheads. Woody has 220gn heads specifically for large Australian game. I'm sure he would be happy to advise.

Re: What's the temp ?
I have some considerable sympathy for you guys in the serious cold. I have never experienced these temps & not sure I would cope at all. Where I am (Adelaide, South Australia - yeah the other side of the world and the other hemisphere) the forecast for the next few days is 35, 32, 34, 39, 41, 41...

Re: Boot question. What is "Serviing Wax"?
Serving wax goes on the centre serving. I was advised to use candle wax on my Ibex. Rub it on and then rub the serving vigorously with your fingers so the wax goes into the serving wraps. I was told it doesn't pick up dust and grit like beeswax (which is used on the string itself). Happy to be corre...

Re: Just bought the Ibex off a friend
Another happy Ibex owner - from down under. I have been shooting mine for three weeks now at the club and have first field round this Saturday. Looking forward to it. This was a decision taken after at least a year's tossing up. I used to shoot barebow compound about 20 years ago and I am probably a...
