agreed..Lisa and I processed our first deer this year...a Normark filletting knife worked real slick....just work the knife down to the skin at one end (or poke it through across the grain between the meat and the membrane) slight downwards pressure on the knife...and push the knife away from you......

there is always hope roadrunner.....know basically the way the deer travel.... work the wind in your favour...and...now...with snow on the ground...makes finding their travel routes easier..... oh....and 1 other thing i didn't mention...when you are sitting in the stand....try not to picture the dee...

personnally..I like the 25-06...a little heavier so it doesn't get blown around in those stiff February winds...but still shoots like a laser....also..it is essentially a necked down 30-06.....so resizing some 30-06 brass is the easiest way to reload....just an opinion On the other hand.....I work w...
