hmmmm...interesting...now I am no engineer....however....it was mentioned to me today when we had a bolt stuck 3" into a tree that if it was a LEFT handed thread in the base of the bolt....you could screw in the "t" handle...unthread the field tip or broadhead...and you have your carb...

now THOSE I am familiar with.....I had those with a compound bow I sold 2 years ago( too many years of framing and drywall taping have taken their toll on my right shoulder...couldn't hold it at full draw)...and I know a couple other guys who have used them...but all of them are either recurve orcom...

Crossbow bolt question

ok..ok...so I am new to this....the "base" of the crossbow bolt (the end of the bolt closest to the fletching) has a threaded insert.....does anyone know if this is a right hand or a left hand thread?

interesting ...very interesting...I have heard that mechanicals are not recommended on the Excal x-bows because they have a tendancy to open up on launch...I have heard that fixed blade is better for staying intact i.e. blades not breaking off inside the animal ........alll so confusing.....does any...
